Gareth was pretty brave getting blood work done by an intern.
The intern missed the vein and even scratched his arm with the needle. Fortunately the intern was a really nice guy, I think that helped a lot. The pro phlebotomist took over and finished up afterwards in about 10 seconds. Gareth was mellow during the whole thing.
No feinting like granddad, but Gareth did say his legs felt "out of control" when we were walking away.
He's getting blood work done because he's been sick for two and half weeks and two runs of antibiotics. The good news, if there was any, was that his ear infection seems to be gone. Maybe that's a sign he's on the mend, if only just.
